Occhiolism: This work explores how we see the world, and it creates a new perspective from which to view it. My inspiration for this project came from other miniature photography artists, and my process for taking my photos was to walk around locations with my camera and brainstorm where my figurines would look best. I chose specific locations that would emphasis the juxtaposition of big and small. The name of this project is significant as it means “the awareness of the smallness of your perspective.” My research taught me new ways to use color and light.
