Intimacy: In my digital photography portrait series, I focused on what it means to be intimate; within yourself and others. I want my audience to feel connected to my models as I shot in a very casual, candid way. I stressed to my models to have fun with this project to create the idea of intimacy in a casual form. Being intimate means a lot to me and everyone should feel some form of intimacy between friends, family or even themselves. To help further develop my idea I researched candid photography as well as intimate before starting the shooting process. I also dug deeper on what it means to be intimate within yourself and other people. I conducted a lot of research before developing this series. I also received a lot of inspiration as I looked at specific photographers' work such as Helen Levitt and Garry Winogrand. Research helped me truly understand the concept I was looking for.
