Ben Thomas

For this body of work, I originally wanted to capture the University of Kentucky’s atmosphere and student life. Through some adversity and realization, I shifted my objective to capturing different lifestyles within the city of Lexington itself. I was inspired by seeing so many different people in a single area and how they all fit into this landscape. Each person is vastly different but also miraculously the same in some regards. I wanted to capture different people in their own typical setting and see how each person or photo is different while trying to exemplify the similarities.
